Boho Chic 7.5.13 Wedding

It truly is an honor when a brides asks you to help her design, plan and coordinate her wedding day. Now, when that bride has a sister that is planning her wedding and she calls you...it couldn't get much better.

Now these two sisters couldn't be more opposite in style if they tried. Vanessa & Charlie's wedding in 2011 was held at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church then at Sea Cliff Country Club for the reception. There wedding was based on Vanessa's love of drama and theater which led to a Purple and Gold Venetian themed extravaganza.

Now, Rocio & Esteban are at the other end of the spectrum. They love the great outdoors and all things nature. So it was only natural for them to choose an outdoor ceremony site. After some tedious searching for the perfect location Oak Canyon Nature Center was it! This beautiful outdoor amphitheater was draped in a canopy of majestic coast live oaks. Small touches were add for just the right detail, hand made burlap and crystal poms lined the aisle and lace backdrop added just the perfect amount of sweetness.

The reception carried over to the Orange County Mining Company were the views were magical.  Centerpiece baskets were overflowing with beautiful Hydrangias, Astilbes, Gerber Daisies, Victorias, Solidagos and lots of greens created by the talented Petals by Xavi. Pintuck ivory linens with olive green sashes were another added touch that played with the nature theme. Even a milk and cookie station flowed in with the theme using tree stumps and moss covered initials of the bride and groom.

Congratulations Rocio y Esteban! I wish you both all the best in life. It was a blessing getting to know you and your families.
