Spanish Romance

Vanessa and Tony have got to be one of the sweetest couples I have worked with. They were cut from the same cloth and I am so happy to have been apart of their commitment to each other.

The Hotel Menage in Anaheim was host to their romantic nuptials. Marci from Entwined Design provided the gorgeous red florals that really brought this event to life. Our Boutique added a few paper goods details that will be up in our shop soon.

Casablanca Bridal

Soft, Romantic, Timeless...

The list of adjectives could go on forever about Casablanca Bridal's Spring 2013 collection.  I caught myself stopping and lingering every time I saw one of their designs.

Casablanca Bridal was established in 1997 and has since become one of the fastest growing, well known manufacturers of bridal gowns in the industry. Our privately owned factory allows us to ensure all phases of production from start to finish are to our exact standards.  Every Casablanca gown is made to order one at a time.  We take great pride in the fact that we do not mass-produce our bridal gowns.  Each gown is unique from the hand beaded designs & exquisite laces, to the fit and customization for every bride’s specific needs.

Casablanca Bridal will be having a trunk show showcasing their gorgeous designs February 23-24, 2013 at Uniquely Elegant Attire in Rancho Cucamonga, California.  If you love some of the designs below it may just be a great idea to check it out.

Valentine Gift Ideas

As I am sure you are well aware the most romantic holiday is on the horizon...Presidents Day!  OK, just kidding it's Valentine's Day.  I have always loved this holiday.  It's all about LOVE and ROMANCE.  Call me a big sap.

We all are well aware of the traditional Valentine gifts...

Candy

Roses

Jewelry

Dinner

Those are all great gifts and any girl would be happy to receive them but they are BORING and have no personalization or extra thought.  If you are a guy and reading this (girls fill free to forward this on to that special man in your life) then take these tips, try something different.  Here are a few ideas but feel free to think outside of the box.

If you want to get flowers, think about a bouquet of the month, where a new fresh flower arrangement will be delivered to the one you love every month.

Go shopping, take the time to pick out your favorite sent.  That way every time she wears it you will know she is thinking of you.
I know it may be a little early to be talking about bathing suit season but it is inevitable.  Girls always have that on their minds.  A great idea to give them something sweet with out all those calories is a fruit bouquet (and just a little chocolate wont hurt).

Does your girl love to cook?  Check out all these great gift ideas in pink and red.

A nice relaxing massage might just be the perfect gift.

What about a romantic home cooked meal.  A little kiss here and there during preparation can't hurt either.

A thoughtful love note would melt any girls heart.  Putting your feelings down on paper so she can chrish them forever.

I hope this helps!

Happy Valentine's Day!

What Sent Will You Wear?

We spend so much time investing in memories. Sight is the most obvious way in which we evoke memories of the past; it's why we take photos of nights out with the girls, the little one on his first day of school, a Sunday dinner with the parents or himself sleeping peacefully beside you. But what of our other senses? Touch...Taste....Sound....Smell.... Your sense of smell is one of the most powerful memory triggers you possess, possibly even stronger than sight. A familiar smell can stop us in our tracks, and eyes closed, time paused, a moment is presented to us, vividly, intensely -we are submerged in our memories, tasting the air, saturated by emotion.

"Wear perfume wherever you want to be kissed" -Coco Chanel

You want to remember everything about your wedding day, it is a moment in your life that you have put much effort into making a glorious memory. You have the dazzling dress, the shoes and the decor all set, and the photographer in place to record anything your mind attempts to eventually alter or file away. Your own personal diary will be your sense of smell, and that’s why your perfume on your wedding day is important. Here's some of our favourite fragrances for the bride.

Clockwise from top left: Classique by Jean Paul Gaultier; Coco Mademoiselle; Cashmere Mist by Donna Karan; Flora by Gucci; Vera Wang Anniversary; Chance, Chanel.

TIP! If you can afford to, buy the shower gel and body lotion of your chosen scent, and use it the night before/morning of your wedding. Your scent will cling to it and last all day (and night).

Clockwise from top left: 212 Sexy, Carolina Herrera; Gucci Guilty; Paco Robanne Lady Million; Aura by Swarovski; Midnight Poison, Dior.

Tip! Try to hold off buying your perfume until a day or two before the wedding. That way you won't be tempted to wear it before and it will be brand new on the day.

Clockwise from tip left: Miss Dior Cherie; Oh, Lola! Marc Jacobs; YSL Saharienne; Flowers by Kenzo; Marry Me! by Lanvin; Flowerbomb, Viktor & Rolf.

So ladies, what perfume will you wear on your wedding day? Share your scent by leaving us a comment below!

Breakfast with Audrey

We have all heard of the famous Audrey Hepburn and the even more famous movie Breakfast at Tiffany's.  There could be no better first birthday than one designed from her namesake.

A over-the-top event is a must when your mother is an amazing florist.  And that is just what this event was. Our custom Tiffany box invitation set the theme of the event before it even began. With a gorgeous base of custom linens for the dining and dessert tables from Glo Concepts.  The Tiffany blue colored satin linens lined the 30' family style dining table.  Glass chargers were topped with blush pink napkins that held our custom designed menus for each table setting.  Also, atop the napkins were custom Tiffany boxed tied up with white ribbon and of course awaiting inside were candy rings.  Each setting was reserved for a special member of Audrey's family which were held by our customized place cards.

The entire center length of the table was adorned with the opulent florals of Entwined Design.  Taken directly from the designer herself here is the description, "Clusters of White vessels lined the center of the family style table and held florals such as Peonies, White Hydrangea, Dusty Miller, Lisianthus, Ranunculus, Garden Roses, Parrot Tulips and Phalaenopsis Orchids. Two large Chandeliers were constructed out of White Hydrangea, Parrot Tulips and several stems of Phalaenopsis Orchids."

The dessert table was dazzling in sparkles.  A gorgeous silver sequined linen held place for some beautiful and tasty sweets.  The Tiffany cake box with cherry filling was created by a family friend along with with the color coordinated and sparkling cake pops.  Marble cupcakes topped with pink frosting and tiny pearls rounded out the sweets. Beautiful florals flanked the table that was backed with a silver backdrop with hand crafted tissue flowers.  We also crafted a special designed banner that fit perfectly with the events theme.  The beautiful photos below were taken by the very talented Casey from AmandaBevington.com.
